Astute's Power Team is partnering with a UK-based specialist in critical power solutions to recruit a Project Manager for its office-based team. Responsibilities and duties of the Project Manager role Reporting to the Project & Design Manager you will: Take ownership of the full project lifecycle from initiation through to commissioning and close-out Manage a varied portfolio of projects including large-scale installations, medium-sized works, and smaller remedial projects Create and manage detailed project plans, resources, and risk mitigation strategies Ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and in line with contractual specifications Work closely with Installation Engineers to deliver projects efficiently and safely Coordinate with cross-functional internal teams and supply chain partners Lead health, safety, and environmental compliance across all project activities Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and internal stakeholders Manage project durations typically ranging from 6 weeks to 6 months, depending on complexity and supplier lead times Professional qualifications We are looking for someone with the following: Proven experience in Project Management Engineering, industrial installation, or critical power project background (preferred) Experience managing multiple concurrent projects An industry-recognised Project Management qualification (PRINCE2, APMP or similar preferred) Full UK driving licence (occasional travel required) Personal skills The Project Manager role would suit someone who is: Highly organised and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment A strong communicator with excellent stakeholder management skills Proactive, solutions-focused, and commercially aware Comfortable working collaboratively within a close-knit team Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality and customer satisfaction Salary and benefits of the Project Manager role Competitive salary, dependent on experience Ongoing training and professional development Supportive and collaborative office-based working environment Opportunity to play a key role in delivering business-critical infrastructure projects Long-term career progression within a growing organisation INDPOW Astute People are acting as an employment agency in relation to this vacancy.
