BIM Manager

Job Description An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced BIM professional to play a key role at a civil engineering company. This position offers the chance to lead digital delivery across the full project lifecycle - from design through construction and into handover - while shaping best practice, driving innovation, and influencing how information is managed on a complex scheme.You'll work closely with design, delivery, and project controls teams, ensuring digital processes are embedded, compliant, and delivering real value to the project and wider organisation.Key ResponsibilitiesLead, implement, and continually improve BIM and digital delivery processes across design, construction, and handoverEnsure compliance with ISO 19650 standards and project information security requirementsManage and support document control and information management teams, ensuring the Common Data Environment (CDE) is effectively maintainedOversee information security processes, including data classification and personnel access controlsMaintain and implement the Information Execution Plan, ensuring alignment with wider project controls and reportingManage the Master Information Delivery Plan (MIDP) and review Task Information Delivery Plans (TIDPs) from consultants and suppliersEnsure consistency in modelling standards and digital workflows across all disciplinesManage model federation, clash detection, coordination, and model health auditsSupport senior-level project reviews and performance meetingsProvide guidance and support to project teams on BIM, document management, and information securityCollaborate with design and delivery teams to embed best practice and encourage innovationIdentify, introduce, and implement new digital tools and system improvementsPromote digital systems to suppliers, clients, and subcontractors through training and demonstrationsStay up to date with emerging digital technologies and industry advancementsAbout YouExperience & Background5+ years' experience in civil engineering, digital construction, or the built environmentPrevious experience in roles such as BIM Coordinator, Digital Design Lead, Revit Manager, or similarDegree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related disciplineISO 19650 certification (Parts 1-5) is desirable but not essentialIf this sounds like it could be of interest apply with a copy of your CV asap and we will be in touch to discuss in more depth.Aldwych Consulting values diversity and promotes equality.
