Design Manager - Civils Location - Portsmouth Salary - 50,000 / 70,000 plus package, DoE. Copello are working with a leading Maritime company who are looking for a Civils Design Manager to take a leading role in the design and delivery of complex marine infrastructure projects. What youll do: Lead the design of marine and waterfront assets including harbour walls, docks, locks, piling systems, and reinforced concrete structures. Oversee multidisciplinary design work covering utilities, pavements, and supporting infrastructure. Manage projects through all phases of the engineering lifecycle, ensuring delivery to scope, cost, and schedule. Apply knowledge of UK regulations, safety legislation, and civil design standards to ensure compliance. Act as the primary interface with clients, providing technical leadership and clear communication. What youll bring: Significant experience in marine or coastal civil engineering projects. Strong understanding of construction methods, design codes, and safety frameworks. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
