Job Description Supply Chain Quality ManagerPortsmouth - 3 days on site45,000 - 55,000 Summary:The role of a SCQM is to be the primary interface between qualified suppliers of a particular commodity, in this case RF Coaxial cables and associated RF products.The position oversees the on-time, on-cost and on-quality delivery of RF Coax cables to various programmes, both UK projects and projects being undertaken at European sites.Key responsibilities:Regularly meet with internal customers to align on project needs and schedule.Management of both POs (Purchase Orders) and Contracts.Support qualification and development of new RF coaxial products for payloads.Oversee contract implementation and fulfilment of critical milestones.Weekly reporting & updating systems (SAP, NC-CAPA, C-SAAM etc) to reflect current status.Guide suppliers on quality improvement/recoveryIdentifying and mitigating risk to OTD, Quality and schedule.Lead/Support various review boards as/when required - VRB, IRB, EQSR, PDR, CDR, MRR, TRR, TRB/SRB & DRB. Oversee the forecast DPA (Destructive Part Analysis) schedule for the Materials Laboratory, ensuring DPAs are conducted on time for the AIT build schedule.Support annual supplier evaluations (SED)Management of NCR & ORsUseful software experience:Google Workspace (Gmail, Google Meet, Docs, Sheets, Slides etc.)SAP (ERP of choice within Airbus)Jira/ConfluenceQLIK
