Job Description The basics:Job Title: Maintenance Engineer - Electrical Industry: ManufacturingLocation: Port TalbotPay: Starting at 57,692 per annum and rising to 65,386 (following assessment) + OTOvertime: x1.5 Mon-Sat (Day) and x2 on Sat (Night)-SunShift: 6.30-6.30 - 42hr week- Week 1: Mon & Tues (Days), Wed & Thurs (Off), Fri,Sat & Sun (Nights)- Week 2: Mon & Tues (Off), Wed & Thurs (Days), Fri, Sat & Sun (Off)- Week 3: Mon & Tues (Nights), Wed & Thurs (Off), Fri, Sat & Sun (Days)- Week 4: Mon & Tues (Off), Wed & Thurs (Nights), Fri, Sat & Sun (Off) Rotates back to Wk1.Holidays: 20 days increasing every year up to 25 daysBenefits: 6% pension, Life Assurance (3x annual salary), Discount on products, Free onsite parking, Private health care.Overview:With manufacturing facilities located across the globe you will be working in an automated production environment that will involve projects, installations along with planned and re-active maintenance.Key responsibilities of the Maintenance Engineer role:To maintain service and repair all automated plant machinery to minimise production down time.To provide technical support on all projects, installations and breakdownsPPM'sThe ideal candidate / Maintenance Engineer may have some of the following, however, please note these are only desirable and not essential as all applications will be looked at individually:Time served apprenticeshipStrong electrical background maintaining automated machinery.Educated in a relevant engineering discipline - City and Guilds/NVQ level 3/HNC/HND etcCommutable from:Port Talbot, Swansea, Llanelli, Bridgend and surrounding areas.If you are interested in the Maintenance Engineer role, please apply immediately due to the urgency of this role.
