Job Description Regulatory SpecialistIm currently recruiting for a Regulatory Specialist to join an innovative and growing organisation within the animal nutrition sector. This role offers the opportunity to support regulatory activities for a global product portfolio while collaborating closely with technical and R&D teams. It would suit someone with a scientific background and early career experience in food or feed environments who is keen to develop their expertise in regulatory affairs.The RoleAs a Regulatory Specialist, you will help ensure products meet regulatory requirements across global markets while supporting both existing products and new product development. Working within a collaborative technical team, you will contribute to regulatory strategies, maintain product documentation, and assist with compliance across the product lifecycle.This is a hybrid role offering the opportunity to work closely with cross-functional teams including R&D, quality, production, procurement and supply chain.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport regulatory activities for an established animal nutrition product portfolioAssist with preparation and submission of regulatory dossiers for product registrations and renewalsMaintain product certifications and accreditations, including organic standardsPrepare, review and manage technical documentation such as labels and data sheetsProvide regulatory input during new product development activitiesWork with R&D teams on trials and regulatory requirements linked to product approvalRespond to technical and regulatory queries from internal teamsContribute to internal reports and regulatory documentation as requiredSkills & ExperienceEssentialBachelors degree in a scientific discipline (such as Animal Science, Biological Sciences or similar)Around 12 years experience within a food, feed or nutrition environmentKnowledge or interest in food safety or feed safety regulationsStrong attention to detail and organisational skillsConfident communication skills and the ability to work collaborativelyDesirableExperience with regulatory processes in food or feed sectorsKnowledge of fermentation processes, silage inoculants or related microbiological manufacturing processesPersonal AttributesSelf-motivated with a proactive approach to problem solvingComfortable working within an international and multidisciplinary teamStrong attention to detail and accuracyFlexible and adaptableA collaborative team player who communicates effectively with colleagues across functionsSalary & BenefitsSalary: 36,000 40,000Bonus: Up to 10% performance bonusPension: 7% employer contribution / minimum 1% employee contribution (with option to increase)Life Assurance: 4x salaryHealth Cash PlanHoliday: 25 days annual leave + bank holidays (increasing to 28 days with long service)Cycle to Work Scheme (after probation)Employee Assistance Programme (EAP)Location: Hybrid workingApplyIf youre looking to develop your career in regulatory affairs within a collaborative and science-driven environment, this role offers a great opportunity to gain exposure to global regulatory processes and contribute to innovative animal nutrition products.
