Our teams are currently supporting major shipbuilding and industrial projects, including new-build vessel electrical installations, testing, and commissioning activities.The Opportunity: We are expanding our team in Port Glasgow and have a range of exciting opportunities for skilled Electricians and Electrical Technicians to join us. Whether your background is in marine, shipyard, or industrial environments, we have roles suited to your experience from installation through to testing, setting to work, and commissioning.Key Responsibilities:Electrical installation and containment works (power, lighting, control, and data systems)Cable glanding, termination, and testing activitiesSetting to work and commissioning of electrical systems and equipmentFault-finding and troubleshooting during system integration and trialsReading and interpreting electrical drawings and schematicsEnsuring all work meets quality, safety, and technical standardsWorking collaboratively with engineers, supervisors, and commissioning teamsEssential Skills & Experience:Time-served electrician with NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualificationProven experience in marine, shipyard, or industrial electrical workCompetent in installation, testing, and fault-findingAbility to interpret technical drawings and wiring diagramsStrong awareness of electrical safety and compliance with regulationsAble to work independently or as part of a team in a busy shipyard or industrial environmentDesirable: xjdpvnf ECS or JIB Gold Card18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671)2391 Testing & Inspection or equivalentExperience with control systems, automation, or switchboard testingFamiliarity with commissioning procedures and documentationCompEx certification (advantageous but not essential)If youre an experienced Marine or Industrial Electrician/Technician looking to take part in exciting large-scale projects, wed love to hear from you.
