Rail Systems Maintenance Technician Level 3Make sure to apply with all the requested information, as laid out in the job overview below.Job DescriptionThe successful Rail Systems Maintenance Technician Level 3 will be responsible for carrying out reactive and corrective maintenance activities on CCTV, CIS, PHP, PAVA, SISS (Station Information and Security Systems). The role is to work Monday to Friday days and cover TOC stations across West London and along M3/M4.SISS is essential to ensuring the travelling public are correctly informed and safe as they commute across our customer's rail networks, our maintenance service is critical to functioning of these systemsRail Systems Maintenance Technician, what youll do:Daily reactive maintenance activities across SISS and Telephony systems (CCTV systems, IP Networks, Help Points, Screens, Public Address, CIS, PAVA and Wi-Fi)Daily, weekly, monthly and annual planned maintenance activities as defined by the Team LeaderEnsuring SISS assets are well maintained, and station communication faults are reported and fixedUtilising field IT equipment to provide real time corrective and planned maintenance dataProvide detailed reports to enable further investigations of referred faultsWho you are:Youll have a previous experience within a similar role involving IP, CCTV, Access Control, PA, CIS knowledge or come from an electrical background and ideally have an understanding of Network Rail health & safety procedures/processes.Rail Maintenance Technician Key requirements:Have maintenance experience on either CCTV, CIS, PAVA, PHP, Access Control or come from an electrical backgroundExperience of working with SLA driven maintenance contractsAn understanding of using ServiceNow or using IT for updating/closing jobs/reportingFull UK Driving LicenceThe job holder will be required to work days, Monday to FridayWhat we offer:A career at Telent can span many sectors, roles, technologies and clients giving you the opportunity to develop, learn new skills and make an impact.
