Plus, emergency on-call duties shared with the homes management teamColten Care are recruiting for a Home Manager to manage staff and resources so that each resident can enjoy a dignified and fulfilling life. Youll be working closely with your Clinical Lead and the wider healthcare and hospitality teams to ensure the quality of individual service and care consistently meets our own high standards and those of our external regulators.Reporting to the regional Operations Manager, you will create and lead a vision for the home to ensure a philosophy of continuous improvement, encouraging and supporting the homes journey to outstanding. Whilst managing people and processes, being a Home Manager is a complex, influential and highly rewarding role involving close liaison with residents, their families, professional contacts and multi-disciplinary teams.There is plenty of scope to build and maintain community contacts, whilst developing the home's profile and seizing marketing opportunities in the local area. To help you achieve and be successful, youll be supported by our fantastic customer service and marketing teams.So what can you bring?Our ideal candidate will have relevant care home management experience having worked in a dementia community, and a good track record of performance in line with CQC standards and expectations. Youll have experience of working within the private sector in medium to large nursing homes and understand the commercial aspects of the business. Youll enjoy the marketing side of the role and relish the challenge of bringing in new business.If you are a qualified Nurse, that would be great but not essential, as you will be supported by a Clinical Lead.
