We've got the perfect opportunity.Join us as an HGV Class 1 ADR Driver supporting smooth, site-to-site shuttle operations between Poole and Portland - keeping essential resin and laminating materials moving for production.Our client, a leader in the marine sector, is currently seeking a skilled and reliable HGV Class 1 Driver to join their team on a contract basis. This role is vital in ensuring the efficient transport of materials between different sites, including Portland, the tech site, and the pool site.PAYE Rate: 15.30/hrAdvance Holiday Rate: 17.52/hrKey Responsibilities:Operating HGV Class 1 vehicles to transport materials safely and efficientlyEnsuring compliance with all road safety regulations and company policiesLoading and unloading materials at designated locationsConducting routine checks and maintenance of the vehicleCommunicating effectively with the logistics team regarding delivery schedulesMaintaining accurate records of deliveries and materials transportedAdhering to ADR regulations for the transport of hazardous goodsJob Requirements:Valid HGV Class 1 licenceADR certification for the transport of hazardous goodsExperience in driving and operating HGV Class 1 vehiclesStrong understanding of road safety regulations and complianceExcellent communication and organisational skillsAbility to work independently and manage time effectivelyAttention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of safetyMonday-Friday07:00-15:15 - home for the afternoonLocal shuttle work (no nights out, no tramping)Clean, repetitive routes6-month stable contractADR work without the heavy tanker pressuresIf you are an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver looking for a new contract opportunity in the marine sector, we encourage you to apply now.
