Consultant Psychiatrist – Wimborne Community Mental Health Team We have an exciting opportunity for a full‑time Consultant Psychiatrist to join our Wimborne Community Mental Health Team (CMHT) and play a key leadership role in shaping the service in line with the Long‑Term Plan and Community Mental Health Framework.ResponsibilitiesProvide assessment and ongoing care for service users, and give advice and guidance to local general practitioners and the clinical leadership of the multidisciplinary team.Participate in the Dorset‑wide on‑call rota, compensated at 3 % on‑call availability plus an additional 0.75 PA for full‑time participation.Collaborate closely with the integrated service manager, community mental health nurses, psychologists, support workers and social workers.Benefits & ConditionsRecruitment and retention payment of £10,000 paid in monthly instalments for the first year of employment.Relocation package up to £10,000 if relocating.Access to an office in the Oakley Bungalow with administrative support.10 days of study leave per year and an annual study leave budget of up to £1,000.About the Team The team is a small multidisciplinary group, including an integrated service manager, community mental health nurses, psychologists, support workers and social workers.
