OverviewRadiographer - CT & MRI - 12 Month Fixed Term ContractThe Harbour Hospital37.5 Hours & Fixed TermSalary: Up to £42,000.00 per year(depending on level of experience, training and qualification)£1000 sign on bonus**The Harbour Hospitalin Pooleis part of Circle Health Group, Britain's leading provider of independent healthcare with a nationwide network of hospitals & clinics, performing more complex surgery than any other private healthcare provider in the country.We have an opportunity for a Radiographer to join their team of staff in the Imaging department, covering both CT and MRI (no cardiac).This is a Full time role for 37.5 hours a week. The role holder will be required to cover a flexible shift pattern. The department is open between 8am and 6pm, Monday to Friday. Flexible hours can be considered.This is a 12 Month Fixed Term Contract starting from 01.08.2025.Duties Of This Role IncludePerform a wide range of diagnostic radiographic procedures (e.g., general X-rays, theatre, fluoroscopy, mobiles) following referral and imaging protocols. Ensure high-quality images are produced to support accurate diagnosis, minimising the need for repeat exposures. Adapt techniques to meet the needs of individual patients, including paediatrics, bariatrics, and patients with limited mobility Provide a safe, dignified, and person-centred service, ensuring patients are informed, comfortable, and reassured throughout their examination. Monitor patients’ conditions during procedures and respond appropriately to any signs of deterioration. Ensure equipment is checked, maintained, and used safely and effectively, reporting faults promptly. Assist in the implementation and use of new imaging technologies, techniques, and digital systems (e.g., PACS, RIS). Work closely with radiologists, consultants, nurses, porters, and admin teams to coordinate care efficiently and maintain smooth patient pathways.Applicants Should Meet The Following CriteriaBSc (Hons) in Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent qualification. HCPC registration as a Diagnostic Radiographer. Experience in general radiographic techniques and equipment. Good understanding of IR(ME)R, health & safety, infection control, and patient confidentiality requirements. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient-centred approach.
