Independent Living Manager Poole, Dorset Minimum 3-month contract 26.00 - 28.00 per hour About the Role Think Property Services are seeking an Independent Living Manager to oversee a supported housing service that provides accommodation and tailored support to young people and individuals with complex needs. You will lead a dedicated team, ensuring high-quality, person-centred services are delivered, while maintaining compliance, safeguarding, and performance standards. This is a fast-paced role where you will balance day-to-day operational management with working closely with partner agencies, commissioners, and internal stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Manage and support a team of three team leaders, ensuring supervision, performance, and wellbeing are prioritised. Oversee service delivery, ensuring customer-focused, person-centred support planning. Monitor KPIs and reporting requirements, driving continuous improvement. Champion safeguarding, equality, diversity, and inclusion across the service. Build and maintain strong partnerships with local agencies and commissioners. Ensure effective management of lettings, voids, arrears, and tenancy matters. Maintain health and safety compliance and lead on incident management. Encourage opportunities for education, training, and employment for service users. About You We are looking for a motivated and experienced housing or supported living professional who can bring strong leadership and operational expertise to the role. Essential skills & experience include: Significant management experience within supported housing, homelessness, or social care. Knowledge of housing law, safeguarding, and risk management. Experience working with young people, vulnerable adults, or those with complex needs. Strong ability to manage performance, budgets, and compliance requirements. Ability to work flexibly, including participation in a rota when required.
