Job DescriptionCopello have partnered with an established defence manufacturer in the recruitment of a Project Manager, based in Poole 3 days a week.This is a great opportunity to make the role your own and be the lead contact between the customer and internal teams.You will be responsible for:Assisting the Business Development and Bids team in planning phases for new opportunitiesCreating work breakdown structures, project and resource plans, risk identification and mitigation plansManaging new and existing contracts, adhering to contractual obligations, deadlines and budgeted costsDelivering payment milestones within specified tolerances of time, cost, quality, scope, risk and benefitsUndertaking regular formal documented reviews of contracts reporting and reporting contract progressCreating standardised documentation and reporting templates for use across all projects/major contracts within the Business UnitIdeal candidates will have:Minimum of 3+ years experience in a relevant Project Management role within a technical sectorProject Management qualification, e.g., Prince 2, APMDegree within Engineering or Science, or similar level educationExperience within the Defence industry or other highly regulated industries delivering technical engineering solutionsLean Six Sigma yellow or green belt is highly desirableEngineering experience within the civil or military aviation industry would be desirableThe company offers a competitive salary plus fantastic learning and development opportunities.
