The main purpose of the role of Area Wealth Director is to implement the Wealth strategy and achieve business objectives. To lead and build the HSBC customer-first culture by providing coaching, mentorship, technical expertise, and regulatory supervision to a team of Wealth Managers and Analysts. Responsibilities include:Being accountable for the team's compliance, sales quality, and Professional Standards, acting as the first line of defense to deliver principled business standards in line with all regulatory requirements. Influencing Partners to maximize Wealth opportunities, with customers being serviced by appropriate advisors in line with the Bank's strategy. Managing performance, providing timely, specific corrective feedback to improve poor performance, and motivational feedback to recognize good performance; assessing strengths and development needs and planning development activities. Delivering needs-based solutions, supporting holistic financial planning for clients' needs. Developing and maintaining effective relationships with team members and external stakeholders. Requirements:QCF Level 4 qualified with an appropriate qualification that allows advice giving (FCA Activity 4). Currently holding Pention Adviser Status (CAS) under UK FCA jurisdiction (excluding Channel Islands and Isle of Man). If previously a supervisor, must have held CAS within the last 5 years with an unbroken record of assessment and CPD. Market awareness to stay updated with market changes and maintain business standards. Understanding of conduct risks and HSBC business standards. Expertise in holistic financial planning and wealth products. Ability to promote customer value and high service quality.
