Production Operative

Job Title: Production Operative Pay: 12.21 per hour Location: Pontypool Start Date: Immediate Shift: Monday to Friday, 07:00am - 3:30pm Additional information: Must hold a valid FLT Licence Job Description: JDR Recruitment are currently looking for reliable and hard-working Production Operatives to join our client's busy manufacturing team based in Pontypool. This is an excellent opportunity for long-term, full-time work with the potential to become permanent. The Role: As a Production Operative, you'll play a key role in the day-to-day manufacturing process, supporting the production team to ensure smooth and efficient operations. Your responsibilities will include: - Operating production machinery and equipment safely - Assisting with the assembly and finishing of manufactured products - Loading and unloading materials - Operating a forklift as required - Carrying out basic quality checks - Maintaining a clean and organised work area - Always Following health & safety procedures - Supporting other production and workshop tasks as required This role is hands-on and can be physically demanding, requiring good manual handling ability.
