Advanced Social Worker - Manager

Elevation is supporting a national charity based in Pontefract to help mentor and support their team of Social Workers and Assistants. Were looking for a compassionate and experienced Advanced Social Worker - Manager, to lead our clients welfare services. Based in Pontefract, youll guide a small, dedicated team providing practical advice, emotional support, and life-enhancing interventions. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys leading others, driving service quality, and working directly with people to make a lasting impact. What Youll Do Lead and support a team delivering person-centred social work services Oversee casework, ensuring clients receive high-quality, tailored support Act as the regional safeguarding lead Build partnerships with local organisations to strengthen community support What Youll Bring Qualified and registered Social Worker (degree or equivalent) Experience managing or mentoring within a social care setting Knowledge of welfare benefits, safeguarding, and older people/disability services Excellent communication, empathy, and leadership skills Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel Why would you apply: Youll be part of a caring organisation that truly values people both the communities we support and the colleagues who make it happen.
