Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias)

Job Description Elevation Recruitment Group are recruiting for a Maintenance Engineer (Electrical) to join one of our Manufacturing clients in the Pontefract area.Location: PontefractHours: 4 day working week rotation.Week 1 Monday to Thursday - 2pm 12amWeek 2 Tuesday to Friday 6am 4pmWeek 3 Monday to Thursday - 5am 3pmWeek 4 Tuesday to Friday 6am 4pmSalary - 44,000Benefits:4-day working week20 days holiday plus 7 bank holidaysUp to 12% employer pension contributionPrivate healthcare with BUPAKey Responsibilities:Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive breakdowns.Troubleshoot and fault find on electrical systems (including PLCs where possible).Build an effective working relationship with Engineers and Management Teams.Develop and contribute in preventative maintenance plans for equipment to ensure that breakdowns are minimised.Contribute to the installing and commissioning of new machinery.Maintain safe working practicesSupport continuous improvement projects and engineering developments on siteWhat Were Looking For:NVQ/ONC Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical Maintenance as a minimumProven experience in an Electrical Maintenance Engineer role within manufacturing environmentsStrong background in PPMs and breakdown responseExperience of fault finding on PLCs (desirable)This role is commutable from:Wakefield, Castleford, Barnsley, Leeds, Doncaster, Huddersfield, York, HarrogateSuited candidates previously hold roles such as:Electrical Maintenance Engineer, Maintenance Engineer, Maintenance Technician, Electrical Engineer, Automation Engineer, Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer, Maintenance Electrician, Robotics EngineerApply now or to discuss this Electrical Maintenance Engineer role, please contact Eleanor Crummey.
