Job Title: Health and Hygiene Lead Location: Grangemouth Contract Type: Permanent About the role: Reporting to the SHEQ Manager, the post holder is accountable for overseeing both strategic and day-to-day management of Occupational Health and Hygiene, providing competent Health (Inc. Wellbeing) & Hygiene advice and support to operating and non-operating functions, enabling legislative and SHE requirements to be met or exceeded. The role leads and co-ordinates Health and Wellbeing improvement initiatives within our client to deliver SHE excellence. The post holder will be Subject Matter Expert for Occupational Health & Hygiene, advising on key matters of regulatory compliance across all geographic and functional areas Role Responsibilities: • Own and performance manage attainment of occupational Health & Hygiene elements of annual SHE improvement plan and longer-term SHE strategy; • Develop and maintain expert knowledge of current regulation and proposed regulatory changes, translating into appropriate management system requirements to promote strong regulatory compliance; • Contribute to delivery of wellbeing improvement plan through THRIVE, working closely with Human Resources, Occupational Health provider and wider internal stakeholders to promote positive wellbeing and engagement; • Provide technical expertise during the planning and execution phases of set piece events (Projects and Major Events) in ...
