Digital Shopping Production Assistant (Q4 Contract)Location: UK-based (Remote)Contract: October – December (Q4)Hours: Part-time (approximately three half days a week, flexible)Pay: Circa £20 per hour (PAYE)We’re looking for a Digital Shopping Production Assistant with exceptional attention to detail to support and collaborate with our shopping content team during the key Q4 period.This role offers a fantastic opportunity to work alongside an in-house editorial team and gain valuable experience in creating and optimising commerce content. You’ll play an active role in ensuring shopping and deals content is accurate, engaging, and up to date during major events such as Black Friday and Christmas.Key ResponsibilitiesBuild and update shopping articles in the CMSEdit and resize product images for shopping modules using Canva or PhotoshopCheck and update product prices, stock levels, and retailer links to ensure accuracySupport coverage during major shopping events and sales (e.g. Black Friday, Christmas)Collaborate with editors to build trending and review contentKey AttributesHands-on experience in digital journalism, content creation, or a similar creative fieldStrong organisation and time management skillsProficient in Adobe Photoshop or Canva, with access to the softwareExcellent attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality work under pressureA collaborative, positive team player who’s open to feedbackSelf-motivated and able to manage workload independently in a fast-paced environmentShift PatternApprox. 1.5 days per weekTypically Tues, Weds, Thurs half-days (10:30am–2:30pm)Some flexibility required; occasional weekend or out-of-hours work may be needed during peak periodsThis role would suit a recent graduate or someone early in their career in journalism or digital media, looking to gain hands-on experience in commerce content production. Candidates who are overqualified for this role are unlikely to be the right fit.
