The organisation is seeking a part-time interim lawyer to provide ongoing commercial and employment law support to its in-house team.This is a one-day-per-week engagement, offering full remote flexibility and the opportunity to contribute to a highly respected UK brand. Any occasinal overflow work beyond the one quoted day will be compensated on an hourly rate.Key ResponsibilitiesDrafting, reviewing, and negotiating a range of commercial contracts, including supplier, sponsorship, and services agreements.Advising on a variety of employment matters, including contracts, policies, employee relations, and engagement with external employment counsel.Providing pragmatic day-to-day legal support to senior management and operational teams.Managing external counsel relationships and ensuring cost-effective, timely delivery of advice.Supporting governance, compliance, and ad-hoc project requirements as needed.Candidate ProfileUK-qualified solicitor with at least 5+ years’ PQE (guideline only).Strong background in commercial and employment law; experience working in or with arts, media, or not-for-profit organisations would be beneficial.Confident operating independently and providing practical, solutions-focused advice to non-lawyers.Ability to work flexibly, remotely, and with a high degree of autonomy.OpportunityThis is an excellent opportunity for a senior commercial / employment lawyer seeking a flexible, high-profile engagement with a household-name organisation.
