Job Description We are looking for Class 1 Welders to join our team at Devonport Dockyard in Plymouth.This is an great opportunity to work on exciting engineering projects including warships and submarines.Job Description:- Working on ships, submarines or within a factory environment- Competent within some or all of the following - FCAW, MMA, MIG or TIGEssential experience:- You will need the ability to read engineering drawings, to interpret work instructions and be competent in the use of general workshop tools & machinery specific to welding.- Ideally, you will have worked in the marine engineering industry with experience of Royal Navy ships and submarines, Royal Fleet Auxiliary vessels or large commercial ships - although other relevant experience from other engineering sectors will be considered.Qualifications:- Level 3 Engineering qualifications relevant to the role- Level 3 Modern Apprenticeship- Indentured Apprenticeship relevant to the role- Time served apprentice within the field of marine engineering / naval engineering environmentIR35: InsideDuration: 26 weeks initiallySC Clearance is required for this role.Standard hourly pay 22.76 (PAYE) up to 35.63 for overtime (Umbrella)Please apply by sending your most up-to-date CV and relevant qualification certificates.JBRP1_UKTJ
