BIM Manager

We're looking for a BIM Manager to join our Natural Resources, Nuclear and Networks team based Plymouth.KierBAM are a Joint Venture (JV) partnership between Kier and Bam Nuttall. We are currently delivering the redevelopment project at a Royal Navy site located in Plymouth.Due to the sensitive nature of the site, BPSS security clearance is required. Please note that this process can take up to 8 weeks.Eligibility criteria: Candidates must hold a passport from a NATO or MISWG member country and have resided in the UK for the past 5 years.Location: Devonport Royal Dockyard, PlymouthHours: 42.5 hours per week – Can offer some working from homeWe are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship to any candidates in this role.ResponsibilitiesAs a BIM Manager, you'll be working within the KierBAM JV Nuclear team, supporting them in leading the BIM team, who will be a self-starter and possess the drive and knowledge to promote Digital Construction Technologies across the project.Your Day To Day Will IncludeAble to pick up and drive the BIM narrative in new directions and exploring new ways to bring savings to the Project team. Work alongside the Project Information Manager to produce, manage and control the project BIM brief, programme, and deliverables.Extensive knowledge of managing task teams within a complex project. Prior experience within a MOD or secure environment a benefit, understanding the function of SAL's and NDA's to inform information handling, processing and transmitting.Proficient in a wide range of model authoring and checking software, including but not limited to Revit, AutoCAD, Solibri, ProjectWise, Synchro.What are we looking for?This role of BIM Manager is great for you if:Experienced BIM Manager Knowledge to promote Digital Construction Technologies across the projectExperienced in implementing ISO19650 parts 1-5We're all about finding potential here at Kier, and transferrable skills are always welcome!
