The Senior Quantity Surveyor will be involved with all aspects of the project lifecycle, seeking to minimise the costs of a project and enhance value for money whilst achieving the required standards and quality in accordance with contract and Customer’s and/or Contract Leader expectations.The role will focus on post Contract management of Main Civils Framework Package awarded on NEC 4 terms.RESPONSIBILITIESKey Responsibilities:Overall NEC 4 Contract Management utilising CEMAR for administration Application assessment & agreement Forecasting & Variance reporting Auditing & verification of Defined Cost Change Management NEC Process Management of Extra Scope & Budget verification Involvement in Monthly Cost & Value ReportingEssential:Knowledge, Skills, and ExperiencePost-graduate commercial experience in the construction industry with demonstrable track record of achievement Demonstrable financial and commercial acumen.Desirable:A creative and innovative approach to problem solving.
