Based in their modern Plymouth city centre offices, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional conveyancing services to a diverse client base.Residential Conveyancing Paralegal ResponsibilitiesAssist conveyancers with residential property transactions from instruction to completionPrepare and review contract documentation, including drafting enquiries and reviewing repliesConduct property searches including local authority, environmental, and water searchesLiaise with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other solicitors throughout the conveyancing processHandle exchange of contracts procedures and coordinate completion arrangementsSubmit Stamp Duty Land Tax returns and Land Registry applicationsReview Title Deeds and official copy entries with attention to detailMaintain accurate file records in accordance with firm procedures and SRA requirementsProvide regular updates to clients on transaction progressResidential Conveyancing Paralegal RequirementsA law graduate or someone with a minimum of 1 year's experience in Residential Conveyancing or residential property Ideally experience communicating professionally with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other legal professionalsStrong understanding of the residential conveyancing process from instruction to completionExperience with property searches, Land Registry procedures, and SDLT submissionsExcellent interpersonal skills with strong attention to detailProficient user knowledge of IT packages including Word, Excel, and OutlookProven ability to work effectively as part of a team whilst maintaining individual accountabilityProfessional approach with a commitment to delivering exceptional client serviceBenefitsCompetitive salary of 23k - 25k DOEGenerous holiday allowance of 25 days per year plus public holidaysExtended Christmas break providing excellent work-life balanceComprehensive company pension schemeExcellent progression and training opportunitiesPlus SO much more!The Ideal CandidateThe ideal candidate will be an experienced Residential Conveyancing Paralegal with a genuine passion for residential property law and conveyancing.
