Job Description - Plant Operative Location: Plymouth Role: Plant Operative Start Date: ASAP Duration: Fulltime, Temp, On-Going Pay Rate: 12.92 per hour Role Purpose Manpower is recruiting for a Plant Operative to join a leading gas company in Plymouth. The Plant Operative will play a key role in supporting daily operations, including conducting quality checks, painting and stencilling cylinders, filling gas bottles, and assisting with the safe loading and unloading of lorries. Full training will be provided. Key Responsibilities Carry out quality checks to ensure cylinders meet safety and compliance standards. Paint and stencil gas cylinders to required specifications. Safely fill gas bottles following company procedures. Load and unload lorries efficiently and safely. Work as part of a team to support smooth site operations. Adhere to all health and safety policies at all times. Key Processes Quality inspection and compliance. Cylinder preparation (painting and stencilling). Gas bottle filling. Vehicle loading and unloading. Candidate Requirements Previous experience in a hands-on, manual or production/warehouse role is desirable but not essential. Good attention to detail and commitment to safety. Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling tasks. Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team. TPBN1_UKTJ
