The RoleA well-established and expanding construction consultancy in Plymouth is strengthening its project delivery team and is seeking an ambitious Project Manager to join them. Working alongside experienced Directors and Senior Surveyors, you'll play a key role in delivering a diverse portfolio of schemes across:Residential developmentsCommercial propertyHealthcare facilitiesHeritage and conservation projectsPublic sector programmesThe workload spans new-build schemes, major refurbishments, heritage restorations and challenging project recoveries - offering real variety and technical interest. From day one, you'll be given meaningful responsibility, autonomy and the backing needed to succeed. Your Responsibilities as the Project Manager As Project Manager, you'll take full ownership of projects from early feasibility through to completion, acting as a trusted advisor to clients throughout. Your role will include:Leading projects end-to-end, ensuring delivery to programme, budget and quality expectationsActing as the primary client and stakeholder contactManaging project programmes, costs, risks and reportingUndertaking technical due diligence, surveys and assessmentsProducing reports, project documentation and funding submissionsCoordinating consultants, contractors and internal teamsProviding hands-on technical input across design, procurement and construction phasesAssisting with the recovery and turnaround of complex or distressed projectsRepresenting the consultancy at networking and industry eventsRequirementsYou'll be technically capable, organised and confident working with a range of clients and project teams.
