Business Development Executive - IT Managed Services Location: Plymouth, Devon (Hybrid) Salary: 35,000- 40,000 base + uncapped commission + performance bonuses Type: Full-time, Permanent About The Company We are a growing IT Managed Service Provider (MSP) based in the South West, delivering proactive, secure, and scalable technology solutions to SMEs. With a strong reputation for customer service and technical excellence, we're now looking to expand our reach and bring on a driven Business Development Executive to help us grow our client base. The Role As the Business Development Executive, you'll be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, nurturing leads, and converting prospects into long-term clients. You'll work closely with our technical and account management teams to ensure a smooth handover and excellent customer experience. Key Responsibilities Identify and engage with potential clients across the South West region. Develop and manage a pipeline of qualified leads. Conduct discovery calls, meetings, and presentations to understand client needs. Propose tailored IT solutions including managed services, cybersecurity, cloud, and backup. Collaborate with internal teams to scope and price solutions. Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets. Maintain accurate records in the CRM and provide regular sales forecasts. What We're Looking For Proven experience in B2B sales, ideally within an IT MSP or technology environment. Strong understanding of IT services such as Microsoft 365, cybersecurity, backup & disaster recovery. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills. Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently. Familiarity with CRM tools and sales reporting. What We Offer Base salary (30K-40K) depending on experience. Uncapped commission.
