If so, Switch may have an opportunity for you!Switch Car and Van Rental are recruiting for a Logistics Advisor in our Fleet Department based at our Head Office in Exeter.In this role, you will be responsible for arranging internal and external vehicle movements of sold and fleet vehicles. About Switch Car and Van RentalSwitch currently operates over 80 rental locations across the UK. Our head office is based in Exeter, along with a central office based in High Wycombe. We provide an environment where they can develop their skills, gain great experience, have opportunities for development, and be recognised for their hard work, dedication, and achievement.The key responsibilities include:Producing, controlling, and monitoring tasks in the office within deadlinesProducing daily/weekly reports to management, as well as ad hoc reportingOrganising vehicle movements by allocation of jobs to our logistics providers in most efficient wayAdministration of jobs in progressUpdating internal and external systems dailyDealing with any queries or potential issues from internal departments and logistics providersHandling of multiple telephone calls to administer the above and general queriesResponsible for allocating of vehicle movements by internal and external suppliersMaintaining valuable supplier relationshipsCo-ordinating vehicles to be delivered within set deadlinesManaging multiple vehicle movements across the countryAchieving the best possible cost and geographical efficienciesPersonal AttributesProficient in MS Office (especially excel and preferably Access)Be assertive, personable, and good interpersonal skillsAble to work as part of a team whilst also using own initiativeBe able to problem solve & identify potential problem patternsAbility to prioritise and multitask in changing daily requirementsSkills, Experience and/or Qualifications RequiredAn excellent telephone manner and written skillsExperience using Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel & Outlook.Ability to work to deadlinesExperience in a similar role is desirableHours of workMonday Friday37.5 hours per weekHours worked between 8am 5pmBenefitsCompany eventsCompany pensionCycle to work schemeEmployee discountStore discountsFree onsite gymOn bus routeFree parking22 days & 8 days bank holidayJBRP1_UKTJ
