Technical Sales Engineer

Job DescriptionThe ideal candidate for this position will obtain and expand the company's business relationships. In order to succeed in this position the candidate must have an engineering background, even an Engineering apprenticeship. Be Prepared to train to get a solid technical understanding of the company and its products compiled with sociable and outgoing personality to build rapport with potential clients. ResponsibilitiesWork closely and build relationships with customersManaging technical requirements, and provide technical support when neededDevelop initiative sales strategyTrain to manage bids and TendersCreation of cost calculations and assessment of scope and feasibility of manufacture.QualificationsA Qualification in Engineering, Electrical or Mechanical. Not necessarily degree levelPreferable technical experience within a manufacturing role. Strong negotiation skillsInterpersonal skillsThe role will start at 35k per annum, office based, and has career progression, within a 2 year period.
