This is a brand new and exciting opportunity due to rapid company growth, offering the successful candidate opportunity to progress to financial controller. If you feel you have the required skills and experience, then please apply for an immediate response!The Role you will be doing;To support the day-to-day financial operations of the business. The successful candidate will have proven experience using Sage Payroll, Sage 50 and preferably XERO. Excellent knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Office, and the ability to handle sensitive financial information with discretion.Main duties and responsibilitiesManage and maintain company cash flow (monthly, daily, weekly)Manage / maintain factoring RBSIFManage PAYEManage quarterly VAT returns and on time paymentsAssist MD with annual budget provisionControl bank accounts balancing and posting transactionsYear end control corporation tax return, prepare reports, arrange audit and provide assistanceProduce Monthly and Weekly figures and maintain packsProcess payroll accurately using Sage Payroll, ensuring compliance with UK payroll legislationMaintaining accurate financial records, including sales and purchase ledgersProcessing invoices, payments, expenses, and bank reconciliationPreparing reports and spreadsheets using Microsoft Excel, XEROSupport month-end and year-end accounting processesHandling employee and financial data with a high level of confidentiality and discretionLiaising with internal departments and external stakeholders as requiredGeneral administrative and accounts support dutiesAbout You;Proven experience with Sage Payroll (essential)Full working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft OfficeStrong numerical and analytical skillsExcellent attention to detail with a high level of accuracyAbility to manage confidential information professionally and discreetlyGood organisational and time management skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamPrevious experience in a similar accounts or finance roleTrustworthy and dependableMethodical and well-organisedProfessional, with a strong sense of responsibilityJBRP1_UKTJ
