Company DescriptionEcosse Professional Services Ltd is working with its client on the hiring of a procurement specialist to join their team. This is a new role where the individual will get the opportunity to develop the procurement function working closely with the senior team.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role for a Procurement Specialist located in Peterhead. The Procurement Specialist will be responsible for managing purchase orders, evaluating suppliers, negotiating contracts, and carrying out procurement processes. Daily tasks will include sourcing materials, maintaining supplier relationships, analyzing procurement data, and ensuring timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services.QualificationsExperience in managing Purchase Orders and ProcurementSkills in Supplier Evaluation and Contract NegotiationStrong Analytical SkillsExcellent communication and negotiation skillsAbility to work independently and collaboratively with teamsProficiency in procurement software and toolsBachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related fieldPrevious experience in the consultancy or professional services industry is a plus
