Job Description Insurance Sales ManagerPeterborough (Office-based)The OpportunityWe are recruiting an Insurance Sales Manager to lead and elevate an established insurance sales team focused on selling insurance products to tenants.This role is ideal for a hands-on sales leader who enjoys improving team performance, introducing new ideas, and driving measurable growth.The successful hire will need to assess the team, strengthen capability, and drive performance.The RoleYou will take responsibility for a team of approximately 57 sales advisers, leading them to deliver stronger conversion, productivity, and overall sales performance.The role requires a leader who is comfortable leading from the front, implementing better processes, and bringing new thinking into how the team operates.Key responsibilities include:Leading and developing the B2C insurance sales teamTaking ownership of team performance and outputImproving capability, structure, and sales standardsIntroducing new ideas, processes, and ways of workingReviewing lead/data sources and improving conversion performanceLeading by example when needed, including hands-on involvement with sales activityIdentifying performance gaps and addressing underperformance where requiredDriving a measurable uplift in sales productivityCandidate ProfileWe are looking for a hands-on sales leader who has experience improving team performance and developing sales teams.Ideal candidates will demonstrate:Experience managing a B2C sales teamA hands-on leadership styleStrong people leadership and coaching abilityConfidence in challenging underperformanceAbility to implement new ideas and processesData-driven thinking around lead conversion and productivityCredibility with sales teams by leading from the frontLocation Peterborough office basedCandidates should realistically be within approximately one hour commute.PackageBase salary: 50,000 55,000OTE: 75,000 80,000 realistic in year one
