Production Shift Leader

THE ROLE: Reporting to the Production Manager, you will manage around 12 Production Operatives in the manufacture of the companys products. Duties:- Ensure your team deliver on the agreed production plan and schedule. Engage with your team and "be present" to ensure swift re-active response and pro-active solutions. Monitor output, operational resource and overtime requirements. Re-prioritise as required for "off plan" runs Support and offer solutions to overcome issues, improve on practices and continuously improve processes. Follow process and work with production Manager/HR for hiring/resolving team issues. Developyour team and individuals through matrix training plans. Ensure adherence to H&S. Order Tooling / update MRP / ERP systems / general administration and reporting. THE CANDIDATE: 3years + in a coordination / man management role within a manufacturing environment or similar (Warehouse, Service provider, HM Forces etc) Demonstrable experience of successfully developing teams/individuals and implementation of skills training matrices. Monitoring and implementation of H&S practices. Understanding of Lean/ Six sigma (ideal) HOURS: Week 1: Monday - Thursday 6am - 2:15pm Friday 6 - 2:00pm (38.5 hr week) Week 2: Monday - Thursday 2pm - 10:30pm Friday - Don't work (32 hour week) BENEFITS: Salary: 34,260 Up to 10% Bonus 7 % Pension 25 Days Holiday 24/7 Well-Being Support (inc Family) Previous candidate titles may include; Production Leader, Production Manager, Production Team Leader, Production Supervisor, Shift Lead TPBN1_UKTJ
