Job DescriptionDispute Resolution SolicitorLocation: Peterborough (Hybrid 3 days in the office)Salary: 45,000 60,000 (depending on experience)PQE: NQ 5Oculus Legal Group are working with a highly respected, multi-office regional firm recognised in the Legal 500 for its dispute resolution expertise. The firm is well regarded for delivering high-quality, pragmatic advice and for its ability to act for a diverse client base, including individuals and owner-managed businesses.Role:This is an excellent opportunity for a Dispute Resolution Solicitor to join the firms expanding team. You will work closely with the Head of Department and other senior lawyers, gaining exposure to a wide range of contentious matters across multiple practice areas.Responsibilities:Managing a mixed caseload of disputes from instruction through to resolution.Advising and representing clients across a broad spectrum of disputes, including:Commercial and contractual disputesDebt recovery and enforcementProperty litigation (including landlord and tenant matters)Employment disputes (for employers and employees)Contentious probate and trust disputesConstruction disputes, including adjudication and arbitrationShareholder and partnership disputesDrafting pleadings, witness statements, and correspondence, and preparing cases for mediation, arbitration, and trial.Building and maintaining strong professional relationships with clients, colleagues, and external stakeholders.Assisting with business development initiatives and contributing to the departments continued growth.Candidate:Qualified Solicitor (England & Wales) with NQ 5 PQE.Previous experience in litigation (training seats will be considered).Strong communication and drafting skills, with the ability to provide clear and practical advice.A team player who is keen to contribute to a collaborative and supportive working environment.Benefits:Life AssurancePension ContributionHybrid working (2 days from home)Performance Bonus SchemeCompetitive Holiday EntitlementPrivate Health InsuranceThis is a fantastic opportunity to develop and grow in a great disputes team.
