Job Description Role: Qualifying Supervisor (QS)Location: Peterborough Industry: Electrical / ComplianceRole PurposeThe Qualifying Supervisor (QS) is responsible for supporting the electrical engineering team to ensure all inspection and testing activities are carried out, recorded, and certified correctly in line with current British Standards and NICEIC requirements. The role plays a key part in maintaining high standards of compliance, quality, and professionalism across the Electrical Division.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the continuous improvement of service quality and professional standards within the Electrical DivisionImplement, maintain, and monitor systems to ensure the highest technical and administrative standards are achievedEnsure all day-to-day working practices comply with relevant legislation, regulatory requirements, and accreditation body standardsMaintain the ongoing accuracy, calibration, and usability of electrical test equipmentAssist senior management with technical queries from engineers and clients where requiredCarry out post-audit inspections and certification reviews on completed electrical worksReview monitoring reports and technical inspections of field-based engineers completed by technical management staffSupport compliance readiness for internal and external auditsPromote best practice and consistency across inspection, testing, and certification processesSkills, Experience & QualificationsStrong working knowledge of NICEIC compliance and accreditation requirementsSolid experience within the electrical industryMinimum Level 3 Electrical Qualification18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualificationIn-depth understanding of IET Wiring Regulations (BS 7671)Extensive knowledge of the Electricity at Work Regulations, Codes of Practice, and relevant guidance documentsStrong attention to detail with a methodical and organised approachConfident communicator, able to provide technical guidance to engineers and stakeholdersWhat's on OfferCompetitive salary (dependent on experience)Company benefits packageOngoing career development and progression opportunitiesJob security within a stable and successful business experiencing planned and sustained growth22 days annual leave plus UK Bank HolidaysSupportive working culture that promotes work-life balanceAccess to wellbeing and employee support benefits, including employee assistance programme, mental health support, pension scheme, and life insuranceNext StepsIf this role aligns with your experience and career goals, please apply today.
