Cash Management Team Manager Ideally based in Peterborough (other locations may be considered) 12-month FTC with potential to go permanent Summary of the Role An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Cash Management Team Manager to join the Finance Operations function. This pivotal role involves leading a high-performing team to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial records and transactions. As Team Manager, you will oversee all incoming and outgoing transactions while managing Cash Management activities across both Legacy and BaNCS systems. You will be central to ensuring accurate financial data, supporting effective reporting, and maintaining compliance with regulatory and client requirements. What You'll Be Doing Lead and manage the Life & Pension Cash Management Team, ensuring training, motivation, and high performance. Continuously review and enhance Cash Management processes to ensure compliance and minimise risk. Establish robust controls to align with regulatory and payment scheme guidelines, mitigating breaches and fraud. Drive proactive risk management practices to secure data and prevent fraud. Develop, monitor, and review KPIs to measure team and individual performance. Act as the escalation point for complex queries, providing expert guidance. Prepare and present financial information for senior management. Collaborate with wider teams on strategic initiatives. Lead on annual financial and internal audits, providing accurate and timely information. Support Management Information (MI) reporting through accurate data gathering and validation. What We're Looking For Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong working relationships. Proven leadership and line management experience with a record of motivating teams. Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills. Clear and confident communicator, skilled in presenting to senior audiences. Exceptional organisational and delegation skills. A systematic, analytical problem-solver with attention to detail. Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and Word. Knowledge of financial services processes, ideally in Life & Pensions. Strong grasp of Finance and Accounting principles, practices, and compliance in the UK & Ireland.
