Deputy Manager Location: Peterborough PE1 4DS Salary : 29,000 - 31,000 per annum The Role The Care Home is a busy, family-run 35-bedded dual-registered home with a strong reputation for quality care. They are seeking an enthusiastic Deputy Manager to join their team and work closely with their long-standing, highly experienced Home Manager, who has mentored and developed three of their current Registered Managers. This is a hands-on role where you will be actively involved in both personal care delivery and supporting the Manager with day-to-day operations. When working on the floor, you will be the Person in Charge, confidently leading staff and supporting their nursing team (no clinical background required). Key Responsibilities Working alongside the Manager on administrative and compliance tasks, with a good understanding of CQC requirements. Being a confident communicator with staff, relatives, and external professionals. Sharing the on-call rota and making decisions in the Manager's absence.
