Reporting directly to the Group Accounts Payable Manager, this role will oversee the day-to-day operations of the AP Overheads and Bank posting function, supervising a small team.The successful candidate will ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices, staff expenses, and daily payment runs, maintain strong financial controls, and deputise for the Group Accounts Payable Manager when required.Experience within the legal sector or a professional services environment is desirable but not essential.We are also seeking direct candidates to apply to [email protected] Qualifications and Skills:EssentialProven experience in an Accounts Payable supervisory roleStrong Excel skills (including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis and reconciliations)Strong reconciliation skills with excellent attention to detailAbility to lead and motivate a small team in a high transactional volume environmentStrong understanding of financial controls and complianceExcellent organisational and problem-solving skillsDesirableExperience within the legal sector or professional services environmentExposure to system implementations or process improvement projectsPersonal AttributesDetail-oriented and methodicalProactive and solutions-focusedCalm under pressure with the ability to prioritise effectivelyStrong communicator with the ability to build relationships across departmentsCollaborative and supportive leadership styleCompany Core Values:Aspire: To challenge convention, an entrepreneur with energy for change.
