Job Description Account Manager (B2B Software) | Peterborough | 27k base, 45k OTE + 3-month guaranteeA long-established UK software company is hiring an Account Manager to take ownership of an existing customer territory. Their products are used by over 22 million users in 120+ countries across education and corporate IT.This is a renewals, upsell and account development role. You'll be the named contact for an assigned book of business, with a clear remit to keep customers happy, grow the territory, and pick up new accounts handed over from the New Business team.What you'll be doingOwning a territory of existing customers across renewals, upsells and account growthBuilding and managing a healthy pipeline in SalesforceRunning product demos via webinar and occasionally in personHandling inbound enquiries and converting them into qualified opportunitiesOnboarding new accounts handed across from the New Business teamOccasional customer visits and trade show attendanceWhat we're looking forSome experience in account management, sales, customer success or a closely related B2B roleA track record of hitting targets and a results-oriented approachStrong communication skills, comfortable building relationships at all levelsGenuine interest in technology and a willingness to grow your technical knowledgeSelf-starter who can manage their own pipeline and prioritise effectivelySoftware, SaaS or tech background is a plus but not essentialThe package27,000 base, 45,000 OTE1,000 per month guarantee for your first 3 monthsTeam-based commission structure with realistic OTE from day one27 days holiday plus bank holidaysContributory pension, EAP, free parkingHours: 9 to 5:30 Mon to Thu, 9 to 5 FridayWorking pattern3 days onsite in Peterborough (Tue, Wed, Thu), remote Monday and Friday. You need to be commutable.
