They support a range of high-performance sectors including motorsport, aerospace, satellite communications, automotive, space and EV industries.The RoleAs a CAM Engineer, you will support the engineering and manufacturing teams by developing CNC programmes, improving machining processes and ensuring production schedules are delivered on time and to the required quality standards.Provide technical support across the departmentIdentify technical issues early and implement effective solutionsDeliver production schedules on time, in full and to required quality standardsSupport and maintain the Quality Management System including Standard Operating ProceduresEnsure compliance with quality systems and customer specificationsMaintain product quality and escalate any concernsIdentify and implement improvements to efficiency and productivityMaintain high standards of housekeeping and organisation within the departmentCNC Programming ResponsibilitiesDevelop, optimise and maintain CNC programmes and toolpaths for high precision toolingSelect appropriate tooling, holders and machines before programmingSet, operate and programme multi axis CNC machines using both online and offline softwareWork closely with machinists to resolve machining challenges and support productionMaintain programme documentation and revision controlSupport quotations by providing lead time and cost estimatesContribute to continuous improvement and knowledge sharing within the teamAbout YouStrong experience setting, operating and programming multi axis CNC machinesExperience xjdpvnf using CAD CAM software such as HyperMill or similarKnowledge of CNC tooling, workholding and fixturingExperience working with 3D modellingMechanical engineering background with experience in high tolerance machiningExperience within aerospace, defence, motorsport, automotive or other precision engineering sectors desirableKnowledge of ISO9001 and ISO14001 quality systems beneficialStrong attention to detail and structured approach to workHow to ApplyTo apply for the CAM Engineer position, click Apply Now and upload your CV.
