Your expertise will ensure optimal financial performance, compliance, and client satisfaction from project inception to completion.Key ResponsibilitiesCost & Contract ManagementLead cost estimation, budgeting, and financial forecasting.Monitor and control project costs, identifying savings and managing variances.Administer contracts, including variations, claims, and dispute resolution.Ensure legal and regulatory compliance in all contractual matters.Procurement & TenderingOversee tender processes and supplier selection.Negotiate favourable contract terms with subcontractors and suppliers.Stakeholder EngagementBuild strong relationships with clients, consultants, and subcontractors.Provide strategic advice on procurement and cost planning.Reporting & Risk ManagementDeliver regular cost reports and performance analysis.Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring timely corrective actions.Leadership & MentorshipGuide and mentor junior surveyors.Promote a collaborative, high-performance team culture.Skills & ExperienceDegree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field.Chartered status (RICS/CICES) is essential.Strong knowledge of contracts, procurement, and cost control.Company Information:OCU leads the way in end-to-end infrastructure engineering in the utilities, digital, and energy markets, specialising in safely and efficiently delivering complex client requirements.
