This exciting role is with a well-funded, deep tech AI startup with global team of 40 researchers and developers, many at PhD level. They’re developing new computational structures that understand the underlying causality of complex problems, in fields such as investment research and drug discovery, although the applications and limitless.Having spent a number of years developing their underlying technology, they are working with pilot customers to help develop detailed use cases on the journey to commercialisation. They now need a Senior Product Manager / Product Lead / Product Strategy Lead to develop relationships with further investment research customers (quantitative analysts, investment analysts, etc) to ensure the product is delivering the most value for customers.The role is highly commercial, focusing on product-market-fit, and requires a senior product expert with prior knowledge of investment research/analysis and the complex problems these users are trying to solve, mostly using manual tools such as Excel. You’ll then work with the development team to build and test new experiences that will deliver first revenue.This is a mostly remote (UK) role, with one week per quarter at a company retreat (usually in Europe) for teamwork and collaboration. The package will include salary, bonus, equity and allowances for benefits.The experience required is:Full lifecycle product management experience (ideation, business case, development/build, launch, in-life).Proven experience identifying product-market fit (0 to 1), ideally for a pre-revenue product, and bringing a product to market to iterate and scale-up. Experience with a tech start-up/scale-up.A very strong commercial thinker, able to understand customer problems and opportunities to create value for the customer, linking the product to the market.Happy to lead on product strategy (with leadership buy in) but also be hands-on with execution. Very detail focussed, enjoys being a problem solver.Understanding of the investment world, and specifically investment analysis and research. This could include developing analytical products for investment analysis, private markets, fund managers, etc. or perhaps someone who worked as an investment analyst before moving into product.Intelligent, thoughtful and articulate. Able to communicate with and influence at all levels - Founders, peers, developers and customers, etc.Humble – has an opinion but listens too, accepts when others have the best idea.
