Its global team of professionals is committed to delivering meaningful work that drives business, investment, and innovation forward.Position OverviewThe Legal Secretary will provide high-level administrative and secretarial support to assigned attorneys, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and upholding strict confidentiality. The role requires professionalism, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare, edit, and proofread legal documents and correspondence using firm-standard software and formatting protocolsManage calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate travel arrangements including itineraries and expense processingHandle incoming and outgoing communications, including calls, emails, and mailMaintain electronic filing systems and manage inboxes efficientlyOpen and manage client files, conduct periodic reviews, and prepare files for closure or storageUpdate client contact records using the firm’s CRM systemEnsure timely submission of attorney timesheetsTranscribe documents from handwritten notes or dictationLiaise professionally with clients, Lawyers, and internal teamsProvide support across departments during peak periods, holidays, or absencesAttend training sessions, team meetings, and firm-wide eventsAssist with general administrative tasks such as photocopying, filing, and document processingSkills & ExperienceProven experience as a legal secretary within a corporate or commercial law environmentStrong command of English grammar and legal terminologyTyping speed of at least 70 wpm with high accuracyExcellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks under pressureHigh level of discretion and professionalism in handling confidential informationStrong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholdersWillingness to work occasional overtime when requiredCollaborative team player with a proactive, flexible approachTechnologies & SoftwareProficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and ExcelExperience with Visio is a plus
