Energy Compliance Analyst

Job DescriptionWe are delighted to be supporting an award winning Energy organisation recruit an Energy Compliance Analyst to join them on a full time, permanent basis.This is a fantastic opportunity for a talented and ambitious individual to join a highly reputable organisation where you will be responsible working closely with the Compliance Manager to deliver exceptional compliance services that ensure clients meet all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards. This role is critical in safeguarding their clients reputations, reducing risk, and promoting a culture of integrity and accountability.Your responsibilities will include:Stay informed about changing regulations, including packaging compliance, Display Energy Certificates (DECs), Air Conditioning Inspection Certificates (ACICs), and the Energy Savings Opportunity Scheme (ESOS)Assist with Streamlined Energy and Carbon Reporting (SECR) and carbon reporting for clientsHelp develop and implement compliance policies and procedures based on regulatory requirementsPlan and monitor audits to ensure client complianceMaintain accurate records of audits, certificates, and compliance activitiesClient & Administrative SupportRaise orders for energy assessors upon receipt of client purchase ordersProcess quotes, tenders, and client orders within internal systemsUpdate and manage client data, including contact details and contract statusesProvide general office support: handling phone/email queries, creating invoices, and performing credit controlEnsure accurate filing of certificates and correspondenceMarketing & Business DevelopmentResearch and verify prospect data for marketing campaignsFollow up with leads to promote compliance services and expand the client baseCollaborate with the Marketing Lead to produce blogs, videos, and social media content that supports engagement and outreachSupport commercial growth by understanding client needs and referring them to relevant in-house expertsTo be considered for this fantastic opportunity, our client does require the following background / experience:We are looking for a candidate with a growth mindset who demonstrates ongoing commitment to the following areas:Background working within compliance and a strong understanding of the importance of thisPrevious background working within a office environmentExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsEffective listening, presentation, and research skills, particularly in interpreting regulationsProficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); database management skills are a plusAbility to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and stay calm under pressureExcellent attention to detail and analytical thinkingA collaborative attitude and strong interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamA proactive work ethic and commitment to ethical conductReward:Monday to Friday 9-5pm (will be flexible around this)Hybrid working is available with 3 days being office basedFull Time, permanent contractSalary 30-35K per annumExcellent growth and development opportunitiesVarious staff events throughout the yearGenerous holiday allowancePensionNext StepsFor further information, please apply by emailing your CV to Utopian Professional Recruitment ASAP.Equal OpportunitiesUtopian Professional Recruitment is committed to equal opportunities regardless of gender, race, disability, sexual orientation, religion or belief and age.To keep up to date with current opportunities be sure to follow the Utopian Professional Recruitment page on LinkedIn, Instagram & FacebookWhilst Utopian Professional Recruitment strives to get in touch with all our applicants, it is not always possible.
