Operational TrainerHours: 32 hours per weekLocation: covering multiple care homes in area from Perth to InvernessSalary: £24,959 per annumplus company car allowanceOur client is a market leader in providing exceptional quality care to residents and patients across a rapidly expanding portfolio of 240 care homes and independent hospitals. Their Operational Trainers play a key part in ensuring the continued delivery of Good and Outstanding care, as they ensure every member of staff is confident and competent in their ability to work in a person-centred and compassionate manner.As an Operational Trainer, you will be responsible for providing induction and development training to circa 5 homes and/or hospitals across a specific region. As one of the initial points of contact between our client and a new member of staff, you should demonstrate a passion for their roles and their ethos. This varied position will provide the opportunity to witness the skilled progression of staff from their first day, throughout their career.This is a home-based position that will involve regular travel around a specific region.The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:Teaching qualification (Desirable)Diploma level 3 in Health & Social Care or experience of working in the social care sectorWorking knowledge of legislative requirements in the care sector2 years of training experienceFull UK driving licenceKey Responsibilities will include:Coordination and delivery of induction and development training against our client's objectives and training statisticsProvide practical, hands-on training across a variety of subjectsPlan and publish training calendarsEnsure employee training files are up to dateObserve workplace practiceArrange induction paperwork and a buddy in advance of a new employee startingMaintain regular contact with new team members, coaching and supporting them where appropriateAttend meetings and conferences external to the home where requiredPromote learning and development opportunities that our client offerWork with Home Managers to ensure the implementation of individual personal development plans REWARDS PACKAGECompetitive salarycar allowance, laptop, phonePension contribution and life coverClick to ApplyJob Reference: CTNLK5875HIHIJBRP1_UKTJ
