Team spirit, attention to detail, and pride in workmanship are central to everything we do. We are currently looking to recruit a Skilled Joiner / Boatbuilder to join our growing team. The role You will be involved in high-quality joinery and interior fit-out work on bespoke sailing yachts. The role includes both bench joinery and installation on the boats. You should: - Have strong joinery skills and experience in boat joinery and fit-out - Work methodically with excellent attention to detail - Be able to work effectively as part of a close-knit team - Take pride in producing high-quality craftsmanship Typical work may include: - Bench joinery, including bulkheads and furniture units - Installation of bulkheads, panels, furniture, fittings, and linings - Scribing and fitting units in timber and GRP, trimming and adjusting for a perfect fit - Fitting deck hardware, portlights, and hatches Useful additional skills: - Ability to read, understand, and work from CAD drawings - Experience in other boatbuilding disciplines What we offer: - Competitive salary reflecting experience and skill - Salary: 33,000 36,000 per annum - Additional holiday for those who stay and grow with the company - Opportunity for additional hours at standard rate - Flexible working week, where possible - Clear career development path within a respected yacht-building business Other organisations may call this role Carpenter, Fitter, Cabin Fitter, Maritime Fitter, Marine Fitter, or Yacht Builder.
