SME Account Handler

We are pleased to be assisting an established independent broker who have an exciting opportunity for an SME Account Handler to take up full responsibility for the servicing, retention and growth of their SME book. They are looking for an experienced Account Handler who is interested in stepping up and initially having desk based Account Executive responsibilities, with a view to attending face to face meetings as the portfolio grows. Role:You will be a part of the commercial broking team, supporting direct clientsYou will be responsible for an existing portfolio which is made up by clients with premiums up to c£15,000Handling and broking of new business and renewals, processing any MTA’s and managing any claims alongside the dedicated teamThe portfolio is made up by a very broad range of industry sectors including Retailers, Manufacturers, Engineers, Motor Trade, Tradesmen and Property OwnersYou will be using the Acturis system on a daily basis for all general tasksExperience:You will have at least 2 years’ experience in commercial insurance brokingYou will possess all around commercial knowledge, such as Property Owners, PI, Motor Fleet and Combined, and have handled premiums up to c£10,000Ideally be Cert CII qualifiedKnowledge of Acturis is desirableIn return there is a salary up to £36,000 and a benefits package which includes 26 days holiday, pension contribution, support for professional qualifications, annual bonuses and free on-site parking.
