SME Account Handler

We are pleased to be assisting an established independent broker who have an exciting opportunity for an SME Account Handler to take up full responsibility for the servicing, retention and growth of their SME book. They are looking for an experienced Account Handler who is interested in stepping up and initially having desk based Account Executive responsibilities, with a view to attending face to face meetings as the portfolio grows. Role: You will be a part of the commercial broking team, supporting direct clients You will be responsible for an existing portfolio which is made up by clients with premiums up to c15,000 Handling and broking of new business and renewals, processing any MTAs and managing any claims alongside the dedicated team The portfolio is made up by a very broad range of industry sectors including Retailers, Manufacturers, Engineers, Motor Trade, Tradesmen and Property Owners You will be using the Acturis system on a daily basis for all general tasks Experience: You will have at least 2 years experience in commercial insurance broking You will possess all around commercial knowledge, such as Property Owners, PI, Motor Fleet and Combined, and have handled premiums up to c10,000 Ideally be Cert CII qualified Knowledge of Acturis is desirable In return there is a salary up to 36,000 and a benefits package which includes 26 days holiday, pension contribution, support for professional qualifications, annual bonuses and free on-site parking.55b20050-bc17-4e5d-bfce-3c406318dffc
