This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced professional to play a key role in pricing, tendering, and supporting the successful delivery of projects.Key Responsibilities:Prepare quantities from drawings and specificationsSupport knowledge capture, innovation, and sector initiativesPrepare abstracts of material and subcontract requirements for pricingCarry out technical and commercial appraisals of material and subcontractor quotationsProduce analytical estimates, including assessment of construction plant and temporary worksContribute to submission document preparation and attend site visits during tendersUse estimating software to prepare accurate estimatesEvaluate construction methods and propose alternatives with the bid teamPrepare forecasts of capital expenditure, income, and cash flowSupport day-to-day delivery on small/medium projects and assist with larger programmesDevelop client relationships and contribute to business growthEnsure compliance with client governance, company policies, and quality standardsCommit to professional development and continuous improvementKey Attributes:Proven ability to deliver results in a client-facing roleStrong stakeholder management skills in flexible environmentsAble to manage demanding and changing deadlinesSupportive team player with integrity and professionalismAbility to mentor junior colleagues when requiredQualifications / Skills:Experience pricing work under NEC contracts (Fixed, Target Cost, Design & Build, Specification & Drawing, or ECI bids)Degree-qualified (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering or a related disciplineChartered or working towards (preferred)Strong technical understanding of Civil Engineering with ability to promote alternative solutionsCumming Group is committed to creating a diverse workplace and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
